Volunteering Form – Inglewood Community Garden

ICG Volunteer

The Inglewood Community Garden (ICG) requires Volunteers to accept the following terms and conditions in order to garden in the ICG.
1. Read and agree to the Inglewood Community Personal Liability Waiver — included in this form
2. Attend an Inglewood Community In-person Orientation — unless they have already done so
3. IF necessary, due to future circumstances, complete and submit an ICG Covid Access Protocol Request Form before entering the Garden
4. Receive Monday Update Newsletters and any special notices relating to the rental bed or the ICG in general
IF, for whatever reason(s), you cannot accept all of the terms and conditions outlined above, simply close the form — no data will be transmitted or retained.

You must accept the terms and conditions of the Inglewood Community Garden Personal Liability Waiver in order to submit this form.

Your agreement to the Terms and Conditions of the Personal Liability Waiver will only come into full effect after you attend an In-person Orientation — until you have attended an In-person Orientation you cannot garden in the ICG by yourself.
The Inglewood Community Garden Personal Liability Waiver

Terms and Conditions

1. Participation in any activity within the grounds of the Inglewood Community Garden or at any other location while acting on behalf of the Inglewood Community Garden is at the participant's own risk.

2. Any and all claims for damage to personal property or personal physical injury must be waived by the applicant as a condition to participation in any activity within the grounds of the Inglewood Community Garden or at any other location while acting on behalf of the Inglewood Community Garden.

3. Responsibility for damage to property or physical injury to themselves or to others as a result of their activities within the grounds of the Inglewood Community Garden or at any other location, while acting on behalf of the Inglewood Community Garden, must be accepted by the applicant as a condition to participation in any activity.

4. In consideration of the foregoing the applicant agrees to …

a. … waive, release, absolve, hold harmless and indemnify the Inglewood Community Garden, its officers, agents, employees and volunteers from and against all damages, claims, demands, suits or proceedings resulting from my actions.

b. … accept that damages may include, but are not limited to, damage or loss of property or physical injury to myself or to others.

5. Minors are the responsibility of their parents, legal guardians or adult companions at all times, consequently and with regard to the foregoing the applicant agrees to accept responsibility for all risks to, and conduct of, any minor children in their care, including but not limited to the damage or loss of property or physical injury to themselves or to others.

6. The applicant grants permission to the Inglewood Community Garden to make use of photographs, digital images or recordings of their activity in the Inglewood Community Garden for the purposes of public relations, training or marketing of the Inglewood Community Garden.

7. By signing a physical version of this document or providing your name and selecting the agreement check box on the online form, the applicant agrees that their attendance and involvement in any activity within the grounds of the Inglewood Community Garden or at any other location while acting on behalf of the Inglewood Community Garden, is at their own risk, and that they have read, understood and consent to the foregoing terms and conditions of this document.
