In-person Orientation for New Gardeners
As a new gardener to the Inglewood Community Garden you must attend an In-person Orientation Session before you can begin working in the ICG by yourself.
Your In-person Orientation session will be arranged by email, text message, or telephone call.
There are three practical reasons for the In-person Orientation:
-
We can give you a proper introduction to the garden and its resources so that you will be most easily be able to make the best use of them.
-
To ensure that you are aware of best practices in garden safety, use of tools and emergency procedures.
-
To help mitigate the insurance exposure to the ICG, the ICG Board of Directors and the Inglewood Community Association.
In-person Orientation sessions usually last about 20 to 25 minutes.
