What if it’s raining?
The Practical Guide on Attending Work Parties may help, the guide states:
“Come when you can, stay as long as you want.”
Received wisdom from the Communal Garden’s history also states:
“If it is raining at the start of the work party, the work party is cancelled.”
You can decide whether it is “raining” or just a “shower”.
Fortunately somethings can be done even if things are wet…
… and you’re wearing the proper clothing!
However I shall leave those particulars to individual discretion.
