My mother used to say: “Why don’t they do what the lady says?!”

For years I thought that she was talking to me in the third person… but nope, she was referring to the world at large and its frequent failure to take her good advice.

Hopefully we will have some ladies in the Communal Garden this evening to say what should be done.

All the Green Steward has to suggest is that we get the Communal Harvest in, cleaned and weighed before it gets dark…
… and then go to Swan’s. (Which might be one of the best ideas that he’s had all year.)
