49 days remain to log your Volunteer Hours before the October 13 deadline

Graceful or not Tuesday’s child still has some gardening chores be they even cotemporaneous with the Communal Harvest.

Naturally the season dictates much of what needs to be done and after last week’s ‘mini-ice age’ growth slowed down in the garden however, that only gives us time to catch up!

Stop me if you’ve heard this before … on second thought: please don’t:

1. Weeding and thinning beds as required – for the astute

2. Tearing up, ‘lightly’ sifting and storing pathway soil – for the truly active

3. Figuring out what else needs doing and doing it – for the self-starter
