Many (many) more beds in the Communal Garden need to be prepared i.e. weeded, amended and so on. A strenuous effort to “marshal” the garden and its immediate surroundings could not help but pay dividends in terms of aesthetic appeal generally and a visible demonstration of our commitment to the community.

If you are reading this you are, of course, more than welcome to come […] |

The first “official” Tuesday Evening Work Party of 2016! …nice. Job 1 Planting, planting, planting… which actually sounds like three jobs but isn’t. Job 2 Bed preparation, bed … nope, I’m only going to use that joke once… but there is still about 20% of the Communal Garden beds to prepare for planting. Job 3 […] |

Job 1: Planting the remaining in-ground beds in the Communal Garden Weather permitting we should be able to complete planting the rest of the in-ground beds in the Communal Garden, which would, I believe, set some kind of record for earliest final planting in the CG! Job 2: Make a start on taking back the […] |

Rheum rhababarum Rheum rhubabarum: who knew that Rhubarb had such a mellifluous scientific name? Harvesting Gwenn, our Rhubarb Rhegent, informs me that there is Rhubarb rheady to be harvested from the planters in the Plot Rhentals Garden … rather than opening up a harvesting free for all … the Garden will arrange for bundles of […] |
