Rheum rhababarum: who knew that Rhubarb had such a mellifluous scientific name?
Rhubarb rheady for harvesting from the planters in the Plot Rhentals Garden … rather than opening up a free for all … the Garden will arrange for bundles of Rheum rhababarum to be made available on the following basis:
1. Rhubarb will first go to anyone who has already volunteered in the garden
2. If there is Rhubarb left it will be distributed on a first come, first served basis
Harvesting will begin at or around 10 AM … if you would like to help out or learn how to harvest Rhubarb be at the Garden by then.
Bundles will be collected at and distributed from the Picnic Table area … if you’re not sure where that is – just look for picnic tables with rhapidly disappearing bundles of Rhubarb on them, or not, as the case is sure to be.
