DESCRIPTION:  \n\nFIRST “RECOVERY HARVEST” OF 2015 – SATURDAY\, AUGUST 8\, 10 AM \n\nIt really is no joking matter … but honestly\, if I don’t try to smile I’m going to cry. \nWe will be harvesting everything – and I mean absolutely everything – that can be recovered from the Communal Garden this Saturday\, August 8 starting at 10 AM. Your help will be much appreciated. \nThe Planting Plan Committee and expert gardeners will be assessing the CG over the next two days to determine what to harvest and what to try and maintain. \nContrary to our “normal” communal harvests this will not be a happy occasion but recovering all the produce we can is all we can do and we’re going to do it all. \nMake time to make a difference. \n\nThanks \n  \n  \n\n

DESCRIPTION:Blast from the Past! \nBee on a Dandelion\, June 6\, 2014\n\nIf you clicked on the link in the Monday Update hoping for a “sneak peek” of what will be going on today\, well\, there’s no news and other news.\n\nNo News: as the Green Steward said last week (and probably the weeks before) – “it was simply “too far in the future” to be able to reliably predict what would take place.” \nOther News: if you get to the Saturday Work Party early we usually just hang out and drink coffee until so many people show up that inevitably somebody asks “What are we going to do?” by which time\, no matter what we decide to do we’re at least a half-an-hour closer to when we’ll be able to say: “Well\, that’s it for me today.
