The basics…

The Inglewood Community Garden conducts our Plot Rental Program twice a year – Autumn and Spring.

Complete the Contact Form (tab below) to let us know that you are interested in renting a plot and we will get in touch with you.

Plot Rental Fees

  • Annual Plot Rental Fee: $60
  • Financial consideration upon application

Financial consideration upon application
What does that mean?
If the plot rental fee presents a financial consideration which may hinder you from gardening in the Inglewood Community Garden then upon application  your plot rental fee will be adjusted so as to remove that as a hindrance.

How would I apply?
The online Plot Rental Application form contains a checkbox to indicate that you wish to apply.

Who will know if I have applied?
Julia Hinman, Chair of the Inglewood Community Garden, the Plot Rental Administrator, and yourself..

Volunteer Options

  • The volunteer commitment to the ICG for plot rental gardeners is 5 hours.
  • You make your volunteer selection as part of the online plot rental form.
  • If you select to make your volunteer commitment to Communal Garden Bed Preparation and Planting you must contribute all those hours by June 10 or whenever the Communal Garden is completely planted.
  • If you choose to Adopt-a-Plot to make your volunteer commitment your contribution can extend over the course of the growing season.
  • If you choose to Opt-out of the Volunteer Program entirely you will be required to remit an additional $50 as well as your Plot Rental Fee of $60

What does that mean?
If a physical consideration hinders you from volunteering  in the Inglewood Community Garden then upon application (to our Chair, Julia Hinman) your volunteer commitment will be arranged so as to remove that hindrance.
